Worse Than An Infidel

1 Timothy 5:8: But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

This passage refers to the financial and material needs of one*s own house. How much worse than worse is it for someone to provide not for the spiritual needs of his own house?

A Christian should pray for his loved ones, be an example to them and see to it that they hear the gospel. A person*s loved ones are his first and most important ministry.
